1. Who we are

TechnomancerTool (the "Service") is operated by HAXAH LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, doing business as TechnomancerTool. Contact: legal@technomancertool.com.

By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. The Service is free

Every feature is provided free of charge. There is no subscription, no paywall and no advertising. Donations are entirely voluntary, grant no features, benefits, privileges or higher limits of any kind, are non-refundable, and are not tax-deductible — HAXAH LLC is not a registered charity.

Usage limits exist only to prevent abuse and bound running costs. They are the same for everyone, donors included.

3. Not affiliated with Games Workshop

TechnomancerTool is unofficial and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Games Workshop Limited. Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000 and all associated marks, logos, names, races, vehicles, characters and images are either © or ™ and/or ® Games Workshop Limited, used without permission. No challenge to their status is intended.

Game rules, points values and unit statistics referenced by the Service remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. The Service is a reference and analysis tool, not a substitute for the official published rules, and you should own them.

We do not use Games Workshop content to train AI models. Answers are retrieved from published rules at the time you ask and cited back to their source; no model is trained or fine-tuned on that content.

4. No warranty — especially for rules answers

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Rules answers are generated by a language model and may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. The same applies to list validation, points totals, win-rate estimates, optimizer output and every other computed result. Do not rely on the Service for tournament decisions, rules disputes, or anything else that matters — check the official published rules and ask your event organiser. Any reliance you place on the Service is entirely at your own risk.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HAXAH LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, games, rankings or opportunity, arising from your use of the Service.

Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to zero US dollars ($0). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

6. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at legal@technomancertool.com if you believe it has been compromised.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. Deletion removes your account and its associated content — see the privacy policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl or bulk-extract data from the Service by automated means;
  • resell, relicense or commercially redistribute output from the Service;
  • attempt to circumvent usage limits, authentication or any other access control, including by creating multiple accounts;
  • upload content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, or that you have no right to;
  • interfere with the Service's operation or with other users' use of it.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

8. Content you submit

You keep ownership of the army lists, store details, photos and other content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already made for backup, which age out normally.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload. We may remove content that breaches these terms or that we are required to remove.

9. Copyright complaints

We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement. See our copyright and takedown page for how to send one and how to file a counter-notice.

10. Changes and termination

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or these terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept it. We may terminate or suspend access at any time, including for breach of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
